Weather in Panama
Located in the tropics, Panama enjoys mild weather throughout the year. The rainy season here (May to November) is mostly felt on its Caribbean coast. However, the rain is doubly heavy on the Pacific coast since it is situated in the lowlands of the Caribbean coast.
High temperatures prevail across the entire country all year round, although it's cooler at high altitudes. While the days are usually hot, the nights are significantly cooler. You can expect anything from 32°C (90°F) in the day to 21°C (70°F) in the evening, and this is the weather pattern all year. Humidity is at a high of about 80 percent. But the higher you go, the less tropical the climate. In the mountains, temperatures range from 10ºC to 19ºC (50–66ºF).
When to Visit Panama
The best time to travel to Panama is when it does not rain much, and that's from December to mid April. During the rainiest months (May to November) the country usually gets an inch of rainfall per day. You will need to carry some lightweight linens and cottons, as well as rainwear especially in the rainy season. Take warm clothes along for the highlands.
